Once I left highschool and was able to bring my own devices to school, I knew I wanted to be a paperless student. There are so many benefits from being a paperless student and I don't ever regret doing it!
To take notes, I use an app called good notes and take my notes for every class. Within goodnotes you can make folders. I then make a folder for each class and put a notebook in each of the folders. This is how I keep organized. Also all of my textbooks are held in this folders. I get all of textbooks in PDF versions or in an Ebook. You can export those textbooks into good notes and put the book directly in the corresponding folder. The only time that I use paper is if my professor gives me a paper handout.
There are so many benefits when it comes to being a paperless student, but I will share just a few
Being a paperless student allows for me to be able to access my school work on any device at anytime. I have the app goodnotes on every device and I can quickly pull something up without worrying about forgeting my textbook or notebook.
No one likes to carry around a big and heavy backpack that hurts your back. With being a paperless student, my bag Load is alot lighter than when I had to carry around a bunch of books. All I have in my bag is my laptop, ipad, and pencil case.
I have always loved to make my notes super pretty, and the best way to do that is use good notes. In good notes I have unlimited number of colors I can use I just use one apple pencil and have access to so many different colors and thicknesses. This makes it super cheap to not have to buy new pens and hilighters all the time. below is an example of some of my notes that I have done using good notes.
